Sugar Pine Point State Park Campground, located on Lake Tahoe’s west shore, is a beautiful wooded site offering an authentic outdoor experience. The park boasts 175 campsites in the General Creek Campground, with one loop remaining open year-round. Nestled among towering pines, campers can enjoy over two miles of coastline and various hiking and biking trails that wind up along creek beds. The campground is a short distance from Lake Tahoe and is surrounded by a stunning Ponderosa pine forest. The park also features the historic Ehrman Mansion and the Sugar Pine Point Nature Center. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak season, and can be made 6 months in advance through Reserve California
