Common Questions
What are the age requirements for the driver and passenger?
- Renter and all drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Any passengers must be able to sit firmly in the seat with their feet flat on the floor and properly restrained by the seatbelt. Children requiring the use of a car seat are not permitted.
What about Insurance?
- Insurance is provided to every rental at no additional cost. We will however hold as a security deposit $750 off a Major Credit Card and IF for any reason the Slingshot is damaged an additional $750 will be charged upon return of the unit until we obtain a damage assessment report with repair costs. Damage to any unit may result in a $1500 charge.
How far can I go?
- There are no mileage limitations with your rental as long as you are able to return to your pickup point on-time.
What is the refueling policy? Renter is responsible to refuel the Slingshot to the same fuel level as when received – Minimum octane 91.
Is there a security deposit?
- Yes, 750$ through credit card authorization. You will only be charged if there are damages to the slingshot
